Hello
My name is Austin Shadle
I have stayed extremely busy in my 20's between completing my degree in mechanical engineering, 4 professional internships, and several years full time in construction management.
I found a passion for project management towards the end of my collegiate career, seeking opportunities to learn more through work, books, and online media. After being introduced to Lean Principles, I also discovered a great interest in continuous improvement and how they can be integrated into project management tools.
While searching for my ideal professional path I have held positions in most aspects of any operation.

I saw every moment as a learning opportunity and paid close attention in order to follow one of my own personal values...
"Mimic success and learn from failure"
With this mentality and hundreds of hours spent studying successful leaders and businesses in my free time I have built an exceptional mental tool box that can be quickly applied to any situation. As an engineer I am an expert at applying tools and creating solutions to complex systems.
My favorite complex system, Business Operations, the harvesting of value from assets owned by a business both physical and intangible.
I firmly believe the most undervalued asset in most companies is their people. Sure most will say their people are their most valuable asset but I would argue their actions say otherwise whether they mean to or not.
I have always been a forward thinker and want to make an impact on the world.
My mission is to oppose outdated and inefficient management methods with education and implementation of leadership and continuous improvement practices.
Outside of business you will likely find me training for endurance races and playing with my dog.
